Riveting the battery boxes

Now it was time to rivet the stiffener back and install the battery boxes.
First, I primed all the parts.
Then, I riveted them all together. I didn't take additional photos during assembly, so here is the end result.
I used flush rivets with the flush side being inside the boxes—to ensure they won't interfere with the batteries themselves. Some of the rivets were a bit difficult to set straight, though, so not all of them are perfect.
As I mentioned before, I don't like that the batteries will be resting on the locking strap alone. I'm not sure if I want to do anything about it right now. Maybe I'll add a fixed strap across the whole box, or use bolts with drilled heads and lockwire them as an extra measure to ensure they don't back off.
